The Red C is back! For those who do not know about the Red C, it is a way for students to get involved during sporting events by cheering and supporting the teams.

Coach Cobbs, the sponsor of the Red C, said “It is a lot of fun and it is a neat way to teach students how to appropriately cheer and to unite as one student group.”  Anyone can be a part of the Red C, all you have to do is come to the games and yell as loud as you can. To be more involved, you can go to the Red C meetings at mega lunch B when there is a home game. At these meetings, Coach Cobbs will lead students by showing cheers and joining along in practicing so when games come everyone will know what is going on.

The Red C is a very important part at the games, it even helps the players during the game. MHS Junior Aubrey Grantham said “It really makes us play better and it makes it more enjoyable on and off the court.” The Red C is a great opportunity to cheer for our amazing teams while meeting some cool new people.
