Cardinal Update

  • Today (May 27) is the last day of school! Graduation will take place at the Allen Event Center at 8 p.m. (Doors open at 7. There is a clear bag policy.) The event will be livestreamed if you wish to watch online:
  • Graduation photos are being taken by Buzz Photos and will be available for purchase soon after the ceremony in a gallery on the Buzz Photos website.
  • Seniors: You can click here for an updated version of Class of 2021 Information and a Calendar of Events and the Final Graduation Check Out Google Form.
  • Check out the Senior Walk Photo Gallery. The Class of 2021 walked through the hallways of the NCE and HME campuses on Tuesday.
  • Congratulations to junior Logan Lowery for placing 2nd in Poetry at the 4A Academic UIL State Meet!

  • Juniors – Class of 2022: You are strongly encouraged to go ahead and have your Senior Portraits taken by Prestige Studios this summer. Click here for an informational postcard. You will also be receiving information from Prestige over the summer. They are the official school photographer for senior yearbook photos. No purchase is necessary; however, you must have your photo taken by them in order to be included in the yearbook. The nearest studio is in Plano. Click here to book an appointment. 
  • Yearbooks were distributed last week. Any in-person students that haven’t picked up their books yet, may stop by room #A136 (in the library) to get theirs. Virtual students may pick up their books in the front office. All extra yearbooks are sold out. Sorry!
  • Are you interested in joining the Navy? If you would like to learn more about the Naval Academy, then attend an informational meeting in Irving June 10-11. Click here to view a flyer to learn more. 
  • Any students 16 or older interested in receiving the Pfizer COVID vaccine, click here for more info.
