The nail salon in Melissa has taken the town to a whole new level. Before the addition of Melissa Nails Spa this past summer, Melissa was just crowded with gas stations and drive-thru’s. Now that there is a nail salon, there is more business being brought to Melissa. Normally, to get a fresh manicure or a nice pedicure, you would have to drive to either Mckinney or Anna, but now all you have to do is drive across town!

Melissa Nails Spa is local, modern and friendly. The service is excellent, with the employees taking extra care of their customers. When I went to get a manicure, I was greeted by everyone in the lobby, and offered a beverage. When I sat down, my chair was pulled out for me, and every need of mine was catered to.

All girls know, when you have a manicurist who is rough and yanks on your hand during the whole process, they do not get a good tip. Throughout my whole experience, the manicurist was gentle, while also paying close attention to every detail. The employees work very hard and put in additional effort for their customers.

The attention to detail is beyond anything I have seen before. The employees are fully trained, and have excellent experience. They  know precisely what they are doing, and they truly execute a flawless spa service. Junior Kendall Bates said, “The service I got there was really great.” Bates also said that she would definitely go there again.

The nail salon itself is very clean, modern, and it has a comforting vibe that is enjoyable to be in. There are brand-new pedicure chairs, and tables for manicures. The artwork and architectural features, such as ambient lighting in the spa, create an environment that is relaxing and pleasant.
