Sour Zombie
Jeremiah’s combination of sweet and sour was a brave twist on a delicious treat! The Sour Zombie has layers of mango and sour apple gelato, vanilla soft serve ice cream, and rainbow nerds to top it off. The layers of the gelato and ice cream along with the candy on top adds more richness and creativity to the gelato. The blend of smooth, cold, crunchy, and icy creates a magical taste in your mouth. Now the presentation of this dessert is quite well, the color scheme of yellow, lime green, and rainbow provides the eye-catching aspect of the Sour Zombie. The look of the dessert also makes it more fun for young children to enjoy and get into the spooky spirit! For me this was overall a great treat with the bold mix of flavors and inviting presentation. I would definitely recommend this item to young kids or teens who like a sweet treat, however, I would not recommend it to anyone who has sensitive tastebuds of sour and sweet combination, especially because this treat is cold. To finalize this treat my overall rating of the Sour Zombie would be an eight out of ten for its outstanding mix of flavors.Â
Vampire’s Bite
The Vampires Bite from Jeremiahs includes cherry flavored gelato, chocolate soft serve, and oreo crumbs to finish it off. The bright red color is definitely eye-catching on the menu. Personally the Vampire Bite reminds me of the childhood snack dirt-n-worms, this was chocolate pudding with oreo crumbs and gummy worms on top. This dessert really took me back to when I was a kid. Strongly recommend for smaller children to enjoy! The presentation of the Vampire Bite was quite intriguing. The red and brown chocolate really did give vampire vibes. Although, I prefer vanilla over chocolate so this gelato creation was not my favorite. I would not suggest this menu item to anyone who prefers a light vanilla over a heavy and dense chocolate. My final rating of Jeremiah’s Vampire’s Bite is a six out of ten for its chocolatey and the vampire mood it creates in your mouth!
Franken-Frog
The Franken-Frog is an interesting spin on mint chocolate chip and Halloween. The Franken-Frog has layers of Jeremiah’s froggy frog ice, which is their version of a mint chocolate chip gelato, chocolate soft serve ice cream, and is topped off with oreo crumbs. I really enjoyed the Franken-Frog because my favorite flavor of ice cream is mint chocolate chip. The oreo crumbs were a nice touch to add a little bit more chocolate flavor and crunch to this dessert. The layers of this gelato were also very nice. The gelato blended very smoothly so it was not a clumpy disaster. For me this treat was delightful, I would one hundred percent recommend this item to any chocolate or mint chocolate chip lover! Overall, my final rating of the Franken-Frog is a nine out of ten, because it wasn’t so unusual that I haven’t tasted anything like it before. Pretty basic menu item, but a classic!
Cookies and ScreamÂ
Jeremiah’s combination of blue razz and cookies and cream ice cream, vanilla ice cream, and oreo cookie crumbs makes their final menu item of their Monster Mash lineup. The cookie monster flavor adds a unique touch to this dessert. This item is definitely a recommendation for a younger audience, but if you’re a cookie monster flavor fan at all, I ten out of ten recommend it. The presentation of the Cookies and Scream was impressive on how brightly and appealing the blue color was. This dessert doesn’t just taste good, but also is picture worthy! Overall, I recommend this to cookie flavor lovers, young kids, and anybody up for trying something new. My final rating is a seven out of ten for classic, yet a bold touch on this dessert!
