Cardinal Update

  • Congratulations to senior Roland Aluko and counselor Meredith Easter for being recognized with a Cardinal Commendation at last week’s school board meeting. See photo below.
  • There is only one more opening for the next morning (6-8 a.m.) driver’s ed class that begins Sept. 29. If interested, stop by the front office to pick up paperwork. All new driver’s ed students should bring their contract and deposit on Wednesday. Class meets in Coach DePaolo’s room.
  • HOSA will have its first meeting of the year after school Wed., Sept. 29 in room 110 of the Championship Center. Contact Mrs. Venner for more info.
  • Early Cardinal Special! Yearbooks are on sale now through Sept. 30 for the lowest price of the year, $55. One FREE line of name stamping is included in that price.   • The PSAT will be offered on campus Oct. 13. This is open to sophomores and juniors only. The deadline to register and pay is Oct. 1. Click here for more info.
  • Homecoming ’21 shirts are now on sale. The deadline to purchase is Oct. 1 for delivery in time for Homecoming on Oct. 22. Click here to order your shirt.
  • Any student in grades 6-12 dealing with depression or anxiety can participate in a Teen Screen program offered through the Suicide & Crisis Center of North Texas. A virtual meeting will be held Oct. 4. Click here for more info.
  • Student Council will sponsor a Blood Drive on Oct. 6. Click here for more info. If you are 18 or older, you can sign up using this link. Use melissahs as your sponsor code. If you are younger than 18, stop by Mrs. Tyner’s classroom to signup for a time to donate blood.
