Cardinal Update

  • Congratulations to freshman Victoria Vargas and math teacher Debra Kennedy for being named Cardinals of the Week. Click here to read more.
  • MHS 2022-2023 Cheerleading Tryouts:
    • Student and parent/guardian must attend a meeting either Feb. 14 or Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. in the Championship Center, room 106B.
    • A clinic to learn the material will be held Feb. 18, 22 & 23 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the MMS main gym.
    • Tryouts will be held Feb. 24 at the MMS main gym. Participants may arrive at 4:30, and tryouts will begin at 5 p.m. and run until completion.
  • The next driver’s ed class will begin Feb. 23. Any student interested should stop by the main office to sign up and pick up information.
  • Yearbooks are on sale for $70 but quantities are limited! Visit balfour.com to order online, or see Ms. Nelson in Room #A136.
  • Tickets are on sale now for the “Mardi Gras in Melissa” gala on Saturday, March 19, presented by the Melissa Education Foundation. This annual event raises funds for Melissa ISD student scholarships and teacher grants. To learn more and purchase tickets, click here.
